Bryan to release his first book of photography – EXPOSED
Vancouver, BC (August 15, 2012) – Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is set to release his first book of photography this September, entitled Exposed.
Published by Steidl, Exposed features portraits of friends and colleagues in the entertainment, fashion and art community. It is available now for preorder, on www.amazon.ca.
Including a foreword by Sir Elton John and The Honourable Daphne Guinness, Exposed is Adams’ first comprehensive monograph, showcasing an intimate look at some of the most important figures in pop culture, including Morrissey, Sir Ben Kingsley, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Louise Bourgeois, Gordon Lightfoot, Dame Judi Dench and more.
A retrospective of Adams’ photography, Exposed provides a glimpse into the many faces that help shape our culture.
Bryan Adams divides his time between music and photography. Adams has photographed for magazines including Interview, i-D, Harper’s Bazaar, Zoomer, and British and German Vogue. In 2003 he founded zoomagzine.com for which he has received a Goldene Feder Award and has since been honoured twice with Lead Awards in Germany, first in 2006 for his series of photographs of Mickey Rourke and again in 2012 for his fashion photos of Rt. Honourable Daphne Guinness.
Exposed is currently on exhibition at the Museum of Multi Media in Moscow until October 2012. Future exhibitions include Dallas (December 2012) and London, Doha and Dusseldorf (2013).
